I have to start this by saying thank you. Thank you to all of those who have walked with us in these dark days.
Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
Thank you to those who have shouldered this burden with us.
Too many suffer alone, that is not what we are called to as Christians.
So what now?
That’s why I’m writing this. So many have asked Hannah and I what our plans are. So many wanna know if/when we are gonna try for kids again. Do we still want to church plant in NC?

Well to answer these questions I want to share what has happened since I last wrote.
Shortly after we shared the news that we lost our baby, we discovered what happened with our miscarriage.
Hannah and I found out that she had what is known as a molar pregnancy. It was a little bit scary as this can cause several complications.
The last several weeks we have be going in for blood work for HCG monitoring. We have been checking to see if her levels will subside back to normal. We will continue to go monthly for the next 6 months to insure all is well.
Her levels have lowered which is deeply encouraging. If her levels did not go down then what that would mean a disease called persistent gestational trophoblastic disease has developed. Sometimes this disease can become cancerous. If this happened she would be treated with chemo (not the kind that makes your hair fall out). But again her numbers are consistently dropping which is very good!
The unfortunate news is we cannot try and get pregnant likely for at least a year. If we do get pregnant after that time our pregnancy will be high risk, meaning we are more likely to miscarry and its even possible to have another molar pregnancy.
So why do we share this with you? Well because we want to put our money where our mouth is. We truly believe that we are supposed to share our burdens with you and you share yours with us.
Our plans remain the same. We trust that we will some day have children either biologically, through adoption or God-willing both.
We love you all so much.
